Io ero un poco preoccupato su come si sarebbero presentati i miei uccelli al giudizio dopo nove giorni di viaggio, e quindi sono rimasto molto contento di aver vinto, nei Paesi Bassi,  una medaglia d’oro con una femmina argentata mezza calotta. Sua madre era la femmina  blu  che vinse la medaglia d’oro al Mondiale  a Bari l’anno scorso in Italia. Perché è un uccello di buona forma e questo facilita la messa in evidenza delle scaglie sul dorso e le rowings sul petto. Le sue ganbe erano già nere appena  uscita dal nido.

Io ho visto  i lizard di Bart Deckers in Belgio al ” Gouden Ring” e pensai che avrebbe fatto bene ai Campionati del Mondo, così non sono stato sorpreso quando ha vinto una medaglia d’argento con la sua calotta netta argentata, un bel uccello con scaglie molto scure. Henk Westeneng anche ha fatto bene tornando a casa con una medaglia di bronzo con il suo calotta netta in una categoria con 42 soggetti,

Jac Gubbels , come sempre, aveva ottimi lizard blu e sono sicuro che c’erano parecchi dei suoi uccelli nei suoi stamm che avrebbe messo in difficoltà al mio uccello a vincere la medaglia d’oro se fossero stati esposti come singoli. Sono stato contento di vincere una medaglia d’oro, e sono stato anche felice quando mi è stato detto che Huw Evans ha vinto la medaglia d’oro nelle due categorie singoli  lizard dorato e lizard argentato e tengo a dire che da 48 anni che allevo i lizard, non riesco a ricordare di aver visto un maschio argentato calotta netta più bello del suo primo classificato.

Io penso che gli organizzatori hanno fatto un grande lavoro nel pianificare dopo aver avuto un sacco di problemi dovuti all’influenza aviaria prima della mostra, comunque io mi auguro che i lizard stessero tutti insieme perché   gli argentati erano su di una altra fila dove la luce non era molto buona.

World Show 2015

               I was a little concerned how my birds would look when being judged as they had left my home 9 days before they were judged, so it was very pleasing for me to win a gold medal with a broken cap blue hen in Holland. Her mother is the blue hen that won a gold at Bari. Because she is a bird with plenty of substance, this helps to show her breast-work and spangle. Her legs were already dark when she left the nest.

              I saw Bart Deckers birds at the “Gouden Ring”  in Belgium and thought he would do well at the World Show, so was not surprised when he was awarded a silver medal with his clear-cap blue, a very nice bird with dark spangle. H.Westenengh (sorry don't know his first name) also did well to go home with a bronze medal with his clear-cap in a class of 42 entries. Jac Gubbels as always, had some very good blues and I'm sure there were several of his birds in his stams that would have pushed my bird hard for the gold medal if they had been entered in the individual class.

             Although i was pleased to win a gold medal, i was just as happy when I was told Huw Evens had won gold in both gold and silver individual classes, in 48 years keeping lizards, I can't remember seeing a better clear-cap silver cock.

             I think the organisers did a great job running the show after having a lot of problems due to the bird flu prior to the show, however I wish the lizards were all together because the silvers were on another row of staging where the light was not very good.

              I'm pleased to say my birds arrived home safe and sound, thanks to David Allen, and was keen to go to nest within a few days.

              Hoping as many as you as possible can get to Porto next year.

REPORT CAMPIONATI DEL MONDO 2015 - JAC GUBBELS (NL) - JOE KOAKLEY (GB) -

Campione Mondiale Lizard Argentato singolo 2015 - Huw Evans (GB)

Mentre passeggiavo  attraverso i corridoi di Rosmalen quest'anno ha un significato davvero speciale essere appassionatamente britannico,  Avevo sentito dire che il britannico Huw Evans ha dominato ambedue le classi  dei lizard singoli dorato ed argentato e Stan Bolton ha mantenuto la sua corona nella classe dei lizard  Blu  per il secondo anno consecutivo, eccezionale!

Io ho visto la femmina dorata no cap di Huw  insieme , con tutti gli altri dorati esposti,  l’uccello di Huw  era molto impressionante, questo uccello aveva più sostanza (dimensione) rispetto ai suoi concorrenti con un buon equilibrio in tutto dandole quel margine di ampiezza tra le spalle e la testa permettendo alle scaglie sul dorso (spangles)  di mostrarsi al loro massimo splendore, per me l'uccello era un po 'stanco / pigro,le  rowings non sono molto nitide  dalla mandibola in giù e l'uccello non teneva  stretto il piumaggio  così da tenerle insieme, ma era ancora davanti agli altri lizard dorati, devo sottolineare che questo era 3 giorni dopo il giudizio.

Poi ho visto il maschio argentato calotta netta di  Huw Evans  in confronto a tutti i soggetti argentati in mostra, per me questo stava un palmo davanti a tutti gli altri lizard sia dorati che argentati, è interessante notare che il maschio argentato calotta netta  è stato messo  accanto alla femmina argentata calotta netta di Huw  che ha  consentito di fare  il  confronto diretto  dei 2 uccelli , molto   più importanti per una qualsiasi un giudizio.

E 'molto difficile a mio modesto parere allevare un lizard argentato eccezionale, essendo più facile allevare un maschio dorato,  ma il maschio argentato calotta netta di  Huw Evans  è  un meraviglioso Lizard. Non affermo  questo con leggerezza, l'uccello trasudava tutti gli attributi che ci si aspetta da un lizard, una bella e piacevole  audacia nel mostrarsi nella gabbia, calotta composta  precisa, con ciglia ben definite, ottime rowings per un Maschio.  Le  rowings erano distinte, non confuse come a volte si vede in alcuni soggetti,  esse scendevano  da sotto la mandibola inferiore fino a  sotto le gambe , leggermente deteriorati  nel centro del petto, piumaggio scuro e di elevata qualità  con una ben definita schiena  e spangles scure che non si disallineavano mai per  tutto il tempo dello show.

Ho visto l'uccello con una   qualità favolosa di piuma  ben aderente al corpo, cuciture e ripari, un vero showman, non ha mai avuto lo sguardo  stanco.

Secondo me la maggior parte dei lizards esposti mancavano di sostanza (forma/taglia) che si è persa a partire da Hasselt a parte i lizard di Fernand Moes che secondo me avevano tutte le qualità ,  alcuni uccelli di Fernando sono stato mal  classificati  , questi uccelli meritavano  un punteggio migliore.

 Nel complesso ho pensato che il giudizio è stato buono, pochi lizards avrebbero  potuto avuto avere qualche  punto o due in più  ma, in generale, non credo ci  siano state molte delusione.

Io penso che la mostra  è stata molto ben organizzata, secondo le circostanze, dobbiamo continuare a congratularci e sostenere gli organizzatori del nostro Campionato del mondo  in modo che tutti noi possiamo continuare a congratularci con  loro in molti anni futuri.

Mi congratulo con Huw Evans che non voleva essere ricordato come un vincitore fortunato, Non c'è fortuna nella sua vittoria, si può pensare solo a Huw Evans come un Maestro di Lizard.

Campione Mondiale Lizard Dorato singolo 2015 - Huw Evans (GB)

As I ambled through the aisles of Rosmalen this year had a really special meaning being passionately British I had heard that Britain’s Huw Evans had dominated both the Silver and Gold single classes, and Stan Bolton retained his crown in the Blue Class for the second consecutive year, outstanding!

I viewed Huw,s Non Cap Hen first along with all the other Gold exhibits, Huw,s bird was very impressive, this bird had more substance (size) than its competitors with good all over balance giving it that edge of broadness across the shoulders and head allowing the spangles to show to their fullest glory, for me the bird was a little tired/lazy, rowings did not have the clarity from the mandible down and the bird did not hold tight and pull itself together but was still ahead of its counterparts, I must stress this was 3 days after judgement.

  

Then i viewed Huw Evans Silver Clear Cap cock bird along with all the Silver exhibits , for me this Lizard was a Country mile ahead of all other exhibits gold and silver, interestingly the Cock bird was staged next to Huws Clear Cap Silver Hen which made the comparison of the 2 birds all that more important for any one making a judgment..

It is very difficult in my humble opinion to breed an outstanding Silver, being easier to breed a gold Cock Bird but Huw Evans Silver Clear Cap Cock bird was a wonderful Lizard.  I do not claim this lightly, the bird oozed all the attributes one would expect from a Lizard, a lovely nice bold exhibit, smart neat cap with defined eye lash, excellent breast work for a cock bird. The rowings were distinct not hazy as some times is seen and travelled down the breast from the lower mandible right under the legs only slightly deteriorating in the centre of the breast, dark sound flights with a well defined back and dark spangles which never came out of their lineage/alignment all the time I viewed the bird and fabulous tight feather quality, lacings and coverts, a real showman, he never looked tired

For me most of the exhibits just lacked that bit of substance (size) which I felt had been lost since Hasselt, apart from Fernando Moes birds which I thought had good all round beauty, I did also feel for Fernando’s birds which were wrong classed i.e. silver in gold and vice versa, these birds deserved better.

Overall I thought the judging was very fair, a few exhibits could have had that extra point or two but in general I do not think there could be any disappointment

I thought the Show was very well organised under the circumstances, we must continue to congratulate and support the organisers of our World Shows so that we may all continue to enjoy them in many future years.

When i congratulated Huw Evans he was conscious that he did not want to be remembered as a Lucky Winner, There is no luck, One can only think of Huw Evans as a Master of the Lizard

Ecco un mio Report sui  Mondiali di Rosmalen, Paesi Bassi.
A prima vista ho notato che i miei uccelli sono stati giudicati da sei giudici che ovviamente non è buono.
Di solito accade ogni anno che i lizards che sono ultimi a essere giudicati , trovano dei giudici che sono pronti ad approvarli  perché non c'è più tempo.

C'erano errori fatti con l'elaborazione dei risultati a causa di un errore di stampa.
Ho avuto un stamm  di Lizard dorati che hanno vinto una medaglia di bronzo, ma avrebbe dovuto vincere una medaglia d'argento perché il catalogo a dichiarato 363 punti, ma il punteggio del cartellino  di giudizio  era  364 punti.
Ho trovato il giudizio  piuttosto male, ma che non può essere altrimenti quando tanti giudici accetteranno quegli uccelli.

I lizard  argentati  sono stati giudicati meglio,  almeno meritavano  i punti che  avevano avuto.
Ma i dorati  ed i blu  erano estremamente  scadenti  e non adeguatamente giudicati. Questo semplicemente non può essere un campionato del mondo.
Uno dei giudici ha detto che quasi tutti i lizard dorati erano marroni e con poco disegno sul petto.. Naturalmente questo non è del tutto vero, perché c’erano anche alcuni  lizard dorati molto belli.

C'erano molte  lizards blu e molti erano buoni, ma anche alcuni non così buono  specie  tra  singoli.
Gli allevatori che normalmente si distinguono come vincitori  ogni anno questanno stanno sempre nei primi posti ma hanno vinto di meno. E’ a tutti  noto che quest'anno anche alcuni inglesi sono stati vincitori di medaglie

Here is a report from the World Championships in Rosmalen, Netherlands .
First inspection are my birds judged by six judges which of course is not good.
Usually it every year so that the lizards last turn come with labels and the judges who are ready to accept may
still approve the lizards because there is no time left .

There were mistakes made with the processing of the results that were dictated error .
So I had a stam gold lizards not a bronze medal but a silver medal because the katalog was 363 points but my host letter was 364 points.

The inspection found I have quite bad but that can not be otherwise when so many judges who accept a kind of birds

The silver lizards were judged best I found which had at least the points they earned.

But the gold and blue lizards were extremely poor and low judge this simply can not be a world championship.

One of the judges told that almost all the gold lizards were brown and not enough had breast drawing course this is not entirely
because there were quite beautiful gold lizards .

Blue lizards there were many there were good but not so good blue lizards especially among individuals.

The breeders who normally stand every year in front were now again with a few well noticed that this year also a few Englishmen were medal winners.
